TLR.eSports was started in 2003 in England by Michael "Chefinal" Robinson. The Main objective by creating TLR was to be a well known Organization and team, not just for their skill but for reputation too as well. In addition, to be able to play on par with the best in the world, not just Europe. A lot of hard work is needed to reach these goals. Focus and determination is a strong factor at TLR in order to achieve these results.
During the last 3 years a lot of emphasis has been given to the reputation of the organization. I personally feel this is a major part of what TLR is about. In the first 2 years of TLR we built up a great community with more emphasis on numbers, player standards and ethics, rather than pure skill. We played every game with more members than I could follow or count. At this stage TLR was more of a huge community than an e-sports organization. This was all built up around gaming servers, of which we had at least 15-20 in numerous different games, as well as, the website.
From mid 2005 TLR made massive and great advances towards the dream of becoming one of the World`s and Europe`s best and popular e-sports organizations. Our objective of moving towards this strategy began by cherry picking some of the best teams and players in the United Kingdom and Europe to play and represent TLR at the highest level. |
