THE TEK9 NEWSBOT IS CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE

TEK9 has two IRC (Internet Relay Channel) bots which allows the news which is put on www.tek-9.net to be fed directly to your IRC channel, working in a similar way to RSS feeds. If you want the TEK9 Newsbot in your channel, here is how you can do it:

HOW TO REQUEST:

/msg tek9|newsbot requestbot #channel
OR
/msg tek9|newsbot2 requestbot #channel
You need to be an operator of the channel and you need more than 20 users to request the bot. (@)

COMMANDS:

$news help - shows you a list with all available commands
$news skin - sets a new skin (if you don't name a skin, you will see the default one)
$news enable - enables a category
(Example: $news enable scene)
$news disable - disables a category
$news version - shows the current version
$news status - shows which categories are enabled in your channel

• Scene-News (3)
• Team-News (1)
• Articles (1)
• Coverage (1)

PLEASE REMEMBER:

The bot will post every hour the news into your channel.
