zTAR* Move Forward With CKRAS

With Denmark's new top team having formed not but two weeks ago, they already had the good fortune of finding a new organisation to represent and work with towards the future. The deal will be rewarded by the upcoming ESL Major Series Danish Qualifier Final this coming Sunday.

The Danish team that had been another attempt by the local scene to recapture some of the early 2008 glory has a star-studded roster to boost the team forward. Whether or not they will be able to fight off the usual Danish illness of dropping and swapping players at the slightest problem, is yet to be determined. However, with the strict, but fair manager, Jamie "z1n0" Bach behind him, they will sure have to.

The team immediately set about finding an organisation to work together with and not before long, the team had talks with the CKRAS organisation. This known name of German organisation has not been too connected to the Call of Duty series before this, but they seem to want to further their support to the upcoming Danish team.

This coming Sunday, the new CKRAS team will be fighting off SMASK in the ESL Major Series Season 9 National Qualifier. The talented SMASK team have put aside DANISH in the Semi-Final and both teams will need to perform their best to take home the win and the much wanted slot in the ESL Major Series final stages.

Jamie "z1n0" Bach, the team's manager, gave a statement about the move on the CKRAS homepage:

"I'm proud to announce that we have joined up with CKRAS Gaming, an organisation known for their endeavors in CS:S and lately by expanding to TF2. On behalf of the entire team, I'd like to thank the CKRAS management for giving us this great opportunity. We will be competing in the ESL Major Series and on CyberGamer, and our first offline event will be the Danish Gaming4Life LAN in October. We'll be working hard to reach the top, and will do our best to replenish the tainted image that Denmark currently has in CoD4. Finally I'd like to thank our sponsors CKRAS.com and ROCCAT."
