Fortuna strikes again and with DSRack #3 put to rest just a couple of weeks, changes in the attending teams were expected and one of the tournament's positive surprises, XayaGaming, had to swap out one of their core players to compensate the loss.
Peter "
inzool" Jarlvik had been part of the core of the line-up for almost two consecutive years and saw the team grow into one of Sweden's biggest surprises in the last couple of months, seeing their reputation cemented after a strong DSRack #3 showing. However, before he reached his home town in Sweden, he had already decided he would be leaving the competitive side of things, leaving his team in quite the pickle.
The Swedish underdogs had to find a replacement quick, with the overbundance of tournaments and leagues happening all over Europe right now. They were in luck, however, as one of their fellow DSRack #3 teams, auRic eSports, had just seen one of their Swedish comrades drop out of the team. Anton "
ANTZ" Standert is about to start new studies and felt his time for the team would be quite limited, seeing his motivation drop subsequently.
Both parties quickly got in touch and after some games with one another, there was no doubt in either party's mind that this would be the best possible deal. Thus, XayaGaming was once more complete and and ready to keep up their hard work. Due to the team's budget, they have to pick their events carefully, so it is very likely we will not see them attend Gamersject Winter Challenge, however, they are hoping to make an appearance at the Crossfire Intel Challenge 8, when it gets announced.

The newcomer, Anton "ANTZ" Standert, shared his thoughts on why he left and joined up with XayaGaming:
"I have been chilling around since I decided to leave auRic, due to me starting a new education in January. I thought, I had to quit all together but after looking more into it I can see I can squeze in some time for gaming. I got an offer to try out with XayaGaming and it brought me motivation, wich was pretty much gone all together after I had left auric. But now it's back and hopefully we will be sucessful together. Thanks and shoutouts to all who know me or played with me."
