Alexey "Cypher" Yanushevsky's red-hot online form showed no sign of stopping as he notched up two more weekend wins.Yanushevsky, ranked fourth in the world earlier this month, continued to put his disappointing IEM World Championship results behind him with another profitable weekend in the ZOTAC and GDATA cups. The Serious-Gaming star had little trouble with teammate Adrien "burnedd" Denis or fnatic rival Kevin "strenx" Baeza on his way to a combined prize purse of €200 as the weekly cups again failed to attract more than a scattering of Europe's bigger names.
Marius "GUArd" Ivanauskas and Michael "mAdix" Hindersson will have been disappointed after failing to reach the top four in either cup with the plaudits going instead to old-school Russian Sergey "evil" Orehov, who took third in both. Former Call of Duty player Bob "supremej" Janssen also made an appearance, progressing to the quarter finals in the GDATA cup before losing out to Ukrainian veteran Sergey "x1t" Targonsky.
