Having announced the return of several French allstars, including Antonin "OZWALD" Grenier, Alzeto "rukkae" Léonard, Antonine "JooKzZi" Dumontet and Mattieu "woken" Ruiz, all former members of top 10 teams TCM Gaming and Team YoYoTech, the only player yet to make his comeback was former team captain Marc "vazy" Berthold. As it turns out, the Frenchman had already been planning his return at the time of the announcement, but wanted to practise, as he calls it, 'off the radar', before making it official.
This week the time has finally come and the former TEK9 player will be on the hunt for a new team to compete at the upcoming European LAN events.
Statement Marc "vazy" Berthold: "Back in september, i decided to quit gaming for a while as i had to focus on my studies at EM Strasbourg Business School. It was kind of a tough decision for me but I had to take it. In May of this year, I've started playing again "off the radar" with mTq gaming in order to get my level back and I had to practice hard for that. Today, I think I'm fully ready to be back on the stage and I'm looking forward to getting a new team.
My goals for this year are the usuals : play hard and win. I can of course go to every lans announced, and can practice most of the week. What's more, after years of sticking to french teams, I can imagine it's the right time to be back in a european team, just like in the past with Reason Gaming or Tek9 (CoD2)."
