The Imperial Summer Madness event details

UK based gaming organisation The Imperial have released the final details for their upcoming LAN event in July, "The Imperial Summer Madness". The event, which will have a minimum prizepot of £1800, will be taking place between the 10th and 12th of July in the Starbytes LAN center in Southampton.

Among the invited teams we find the complete UK top, including Team Dignitas, Crack Clan and Four Kings, who belong to the European top10.

	Yeah Imperial are doing well at the minute, who only just lost to 4k 16-14 on de_tuscan and lost 16-9 to Crack Clan on de_dust2, probally one of the best up and coming uk teams at the minute.

	We've increased the pot to £1.8k and you can rent PC's but there are only 8-10 decent ones. I will be going down there next week to see if we can fit more teams, so if any other CSS teams are interested contact me here or - oli@imperial-esports.net

	Just thought I'd give you a bit of insider info. There's a strong possibility that we'll be running a LAN of this size on a number of other titles, including CoD and TF2 as well as a few 360 titles in due course. More details to follow. edited 2009-04-09 18:55:09
