Following the announcement back in March that Call of Duty 4 would be featured in the upcoming Benelux ESL Pro Series season, the competition has come to an end and the finalists have been decided.
A total of seven teams entered the first ESL Pro Series Benelux season for Call of Duty 4, and the competition was held from the 16th of May until the 6th of June. The teams have endured grueling, tight and highly competitive matches over the last month, and, finally, the finalists have been announced.
Four teams have qualified to attend the ESL Pro Series finals in Enschede this Saturday 26/06/2010, where they will compete for a total prize purse of €1,200 and the prolific right to call themselves the top CoD4 team in the Benelux.
NCC will be unable to attend the LAN finals due to the unfortunate timing of the event and moreover, iuro are unable to attend as NCC's replacement. Consequently, nospang have been granted the fourth spot at the finals and will be given the chance to redeem themselves after some poor performances in the online competition.
H2kTV has been selected as the official streaming provider and will therefore be covering the event on site and hopefully they can provide as much CoD4 coverage as possible!
