The Battle of Waterloo

Posted by Camiel jetset R. on 2010-03-04 21:48:14

After Cadred tied up the best of three Napoleon Total War battle with a victory at sea, the outcome of who will be victorious has been decided overall.

As stated throughout the the face-off you, the readers of both community sites, would be ultimately responsible for deciding the outcome of who would emerge victorious. By showing your support you registered a vote and the community with the most votes will be the one who takes the glory.

The battlefield for the third and final video will be the historical battle of Waterloo, where in reality the British and their allies registered a resounding victory against the armies of Napoleon. Will it be any different this time around?

To find out head over to the Napoleon Total War micro-site and see if it is either Tek-9 or Cadred that have marched on to triumph.

First of all check you history Camel Jetset

The battle of Waterloo was fought on 18 June 1815, near Brussels in Beigium. The British commander, Arthur Wellesley, Duke
of Wellington, officially defeated the French Emperor, Napoleon Buonaparte. 68,000 men fought under Wellington; of these, 24000 were British, and the rest were mainly German, Belgian and Dutch. (The Prussian army, led by General Bluecher, were especially important to the campaign's success.) The French army
had 72000 soldiers.
