tempus moriendi come to an end, reaktiv joins vacuum

Following a strong and stable period of the past 8 months, today we here at TEK9.org are sad to announce the split of one of the strongest teams within the Polish Call of Duty 4 scene, none other than tempus moriendi, 4th place finnishers at the Crossfire Challenge 5 back in December.

Following an impressive first appearance at a European LAN event, the Poles were shot into 4th place in the Cadred.org European Top 10 COD4 rankings, where they comftably sat for the following month, but with a gentle decrease in online performance, the team slowly slipped down and out of the ratings, and were overtaken by more and more teams.

Although three Summer LANs for 2009 have been confirmed, this was not enough to boost the team back into the highs of the EU rankings, especially when it became clear that there would not be enough support avalible from their long-term organisation to send them to other parts of Europe.

The final nail in the tm.EIZO coffin was evidently the removal of Marcin "doomciak" Jesiotr only 2 weeks ago, but unfortunately the team were unable to recover and find a suitable replacement in time. The last official tempus moriendi line-up was as followed:

However, there is fortunately something to be salvaged from this Polish wreckage, as we see one of the teams strongest players, Piotr "reaktiv" Przyłubski, quickly step into a free spot in the opposing national team of vacuum, ensuring his attendance later this year to the-eXperience 2009 in Roskilde, Denmark with the rest of his new teammates.

Unfortunately however, the Poles have to wave goodbye to one of their best friends & long-term members, Damian "WAFFENS" Brzezowski. This change is down to WAFFENS health over recent months, and thus not being able to attend LANs over this summer period. We here at TEK-9.org wish him a speedy recovery.

The vacuum roster now consists of the following players:

Statement Piotr "reaktiv" Przyłubski: "So here it is, after a year of playing for tempus moriendi it all has came to an end. It was a year of fun and a lot of wonderful games We will never forget. Lack of motivation to play the game, no chance of attending any of the summer lans and also few polish lans in October forced us to make this decision and call it a day. We all decided it's better to quit the game instead of playing it without any real future. We understand each other so well that we all know it's time to enjoy our lives in a different way. We would like to thank our manager Baniaque for giving us the chance to attend every polish lan we wanted to, cc5, codHR, for a great support we wouldn't get in any other team. We wish him good luck in what he is doing!. Cu all in hell!"

Statement Piotr "eXN" Bartenbach to TEK-9.org: "It is one of the saddest moments in my career. Damian can't attend in any abroad tournaments due to his health problems. After playing together for over three years he showed that he is a fantastic, trustworthy person and it will be very hard to play without him. All of our achievements until now are in great part his merits. Let's hope that his health will only get better.

Damian will be replaced by Piotr 'reaktiv' Przyłubski, former tempus moriendi player. I think that his commitement will positively affect our game and we will finally start our preparation for upcoming LANs. Wish us good luck and see you all in Roskilde!"
