After a dissapointing 25-32 place finish at the Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 in Enschede, the Netherlands last weekend, Team Infused has parted ways with their Call of Duty 4 team with immediate effect.The British team had brought in Patrick
"puNi" Stemmler to replace George
"RAIVZ" Marsh leading up to the Crossfire Intel Challenge 7, but failed to make it out of the groupstages after being placed in a group together with eventual finalists Reason Gaming and fnatic.
Despite their promising looking lineup, a fourth place finish in their group, having lost to GameLimited in a battle for third place, had made the Infused management decide to look for other alternatives, stating they "persue a roster within the Call of Duty 4 European Top 10".
When asked about their future plans with regards to Call of Duty 4, Joshua "twrs" Towers replied that "Team Infused will soon be returning to Call of Duty 4 to compete at upcoming events, all of which we look to be present at with a potential Top 10 European roster. More announced soon!"

Bit harsh to an extent by infused as the team would have worked hard to bring some new players in and improve especially after some silly mistakes which cost them matches at cc7!

I'm sure if you gave them 2 weeks after CiC7 they would have replaced 1 or 2 players, practised as much if not more than before CiC7 to prove themselves and would have battled to be in the top10 !
either way I hope infused find or have found a great replacement team, and I'm sure the decision wasn't based solely on the unfortunate result of cic, because there really was never a chance that they were getting out of the groups.

I don't blame infused for removing them, I might have done the same even though I get on great with the team. But your clarification wasn't particularly clear and frankly you contradicted yourself. And bringing up the infused team that I was in seems a bit retarded considering you weren't a manager at the time, you were in the girls team that was freeboating lans on the back of a sponsorship deal which took the combined power of five gamingly talentless vaginas to reel in. Like I said, hope you guys find a good team and i'll support the org and whatever team you find, but that comment and your previous ones didn't sit particularly well with me.

I'd personally have more respect for an organisation with a competitive, clean and friendly team than one who have cast aside relationships in order to have the best.
It's hard to phrase what I'm trying to say, but in it's most blunt form, I liked this team.
