After 12 and a half years of providing top quality cooling equipment to PC enthusiasts and gamers alike, Spire have decided it's time to give the community a big thank you for all their support. To do this, they have joined forces with Team Decerto to bring you the Spire 12½ Years CoD4 Challenge! The challenge will take the form of an online cup. Teams will be pitted against each other in a double elimination tournament, each round played in the VETO Bo1 format with a Bo3 Final, a format which I'm sure you are all familiar with. The map pool remains the standard one, despite all of Vita Nova's efforts it would seem like big events are still reluctant to take on any custom maps as of yet.
The competition is originally open to 16 teams, but if it fills it will progressively expanded to 32 and then 64 teams. In addition, the tournament admins are planning on streaming the final, broadcast live with shoutcasting. The tournament begins at
19:00 CET on
28th July, and you can sign up by following
this link. For the complete ruleset of the competition, click

So why should you bother entering this tournament? If the glory isn't enough for you, then maybe this will sway you - Spire have provided their own high quality cooling equipment as prizes for the top 3 teams!
