Up-and-coming multigaming organisation Team Adversity have today announced their return to the CoD4 scene, picking up the Spanish team aero.
Having lost their former benelux team a few months ago,
Team Adversity have been waiting for a suitable replacement to come along. They are pleased to announce they have found the perfect team to bolster their ranks. The team joining them comes from an unlikely place for the primarily UK and Benelux organisation: Spain.
Signing up are the talented side
aero, widely regarded as one of Spain's finest CoD4 teams. With a long history stretching back to 2009, the team have a long established bond and have no problems transferring this over onto the competitive game. Their most recent outing was to the Spanish event LANcelona 2k10, where they placed a strong second.
Making up the team are faces both well known and somewhat more anonymous within the scene. The better known amongst the lineup will be recognised for their time in 4FRAGs, one of the better known teams to come out of Spain:
Jon Ander "nAcked" Gallego,
Victor "scratch" Arambarri and
Jorge "ville" Villena have all represented them in the past. The rest of the team may be more unknown, but are certainly no less talented. All have solid LAN performance records with a variety of top Spanish teams.
Now settled into their new home, they hope the organisation can support them to the rumoured CiC8 event (should it be announced) which they are keen to attend. On top of that they will be attending
Fiberparty 2k11, a Spanish event. Already in #cod.preinvite, they are working hard to further their already formidable reputation. The new Team Adversity CoD4 team is therefore as follows:
Raúl "glu" Fernandez
Jon Ander "nAcked" Gallego
Francisco Javier "ozi." Blanco
Victor "scratch" Arambarri
Jorge "ville" Villena
Borja "sheer" Sanchez (Backup)
We at TEK-9 wish them the best of luck in their new home.
Statement from Reece "Tidus" Fowler (Manager): "Team Adversity has been without a COD4 team since our Benelux team was removed almost 3 months ago, since then we haven't actively looked for a team, instead just waited for what we felt was the right team with potential to come along. We've finally come across the right team from a country we'd not expected to find. We are currently very pleased with the teams progress, and are looking forward to seeing there progress in up-comming LAN's across spain and Portugal, as well as some major EU events over the course of 2011!"

They said it was because you failed at AEF that they refused. Amounts to the same thing.
I also heard you finished an EPS season 0-0-7 and then wondered why you weren't getting funded...
Not sure I blame them ;)
