A short and powerful first map and a seemingly never-ending second map put H2k Gaming through to the Semi-Finals and Team-Dignitas home with another first round bracket loss.

There is not much to be said about mp_strike, as the Swedes simply outplayed the UK side round after round, they were firmly in control and never had to worry about losing control and even their lead. Stand-out players for H2k on this map were Adam "Mumma" Timle-Händel and Fredrik "qLimAxzU" Idh and Team-Dignitas did not really have anyone playing outstandingly well.

It was a completely different story on mp_district, though, H2k Gaming and Team-Dignitas were neck-to-neck for most of the time and with Team-Dignitas on defense in the first half of the map, they only managed to walk away with a 5 to 7 half score. This proved not enough, because H2k Gaming immediately took 4 rounds to put them at 9 to 7. Mark "phantasy" Pinney and Jon "raz" Baker did really well in the last rounds, often making the important frags at the A bomb in link. Especially Johan "miRACLE" Gärtner did really well in the second map, almost dropping a 30 frag bomb and he really left his mark in this match and was often screaming and cheering the team on, being a vital part in the rounds the team got.

The match ended at 12 - 12 and that meant we had to go to overtime. Everyone readied up, the overtime got underway and both teams already had one player down when all of a sudden the power went on both rows. This caused another massive delay and affected H2k Gaming a bit, because they were all pumped up from the general playing time and kind of lost their edge when the match got underway again. They lost the first half of the first overtime with 1 - 2 and thanks to Adam "Mumma" Timle-Händel and Fredrik "qLimAxzU" Idh, they made sure Team-Dignitas could not capitalize on their short-lived lack of animo.

That changed quickly during the second overtime and if it were not for Jon "raz" Baker, the match would have ended at two overtimes, he made most of the frags during the rounds with his unique shotgun play, making sure mid was on lockdown for the majority of the round. In the second half of the third overtime, it all came to an end though and H2k Gaming really played as a team and deserved the win they took of Team-Dignitas.

If they keep playing like this, Power Gaming really need to be prepared and aware that the Swedes are playing on a high right now. I am expecting a truly interesting Semi-Final with the Eastern Europeans taking on their Nordic opponents.
