Rush Poker Challenge: Week Two Results

As the Full Tilt Rush Poker Challenge continues we have our second contestant for the final. Joining Swedish superstar Emil 'HeatoN' Christensen in the grand final will be none other than Tek9 supremo Steven Leunens.

For anyone who isn't familiar with this on going competition, Full Tilt poker have gathered numerous e-sport dignitaries and each week four will duke it out in the Rush Poker Challenge. Rush Poker, for those inexperienced players, is a brand new concept exclusive to Full Tilt poker which revolutionises the game; eliminating the long, dull waits between hands and throwing players into another tables action as soon as they fold their cards, it's like poker on speed - but without the illegality..

Last week saw Steven up against Enemy Territory legend Mikko Taskinen, Team Dignitas owner and self proclaimed poker ace Michael O'Dell and TF2 all-rounder Marco Wichmann. After a week of intense action the man from Tek9 has come out on top, with a final kitty of -$21.05 after a total of 569 hands. Closely following the Belgian was Marco Wichmann with -$29.90 after 418 whilst in third place was Michael O'Dell with -$112.85 after just 82 hands. Trailing way behind in last place was former poker professional Mikko Taskinen who, despite leading the way with $725, crashed out to finish on -$151.52 after a mammoth 10885 hands.

Steven had the following to say:
I had a lot of fun playing the Rush Poker Challenge. It definately takes some getting used to and after a first bad beat I was down and things didn't really look that good for me. It took me a while before I got the hang of it and I had to tighten up my game and mix it up a bit before I found the rythm I needed. I actually prefer the fast-paced and action packed games above regular online poker.

Stay tuned to the Rush Poker Challenge website for future updates including week three's participants coming soon!

Like D1abl0 said. People are more interesting in reading news and updates or announcements about ESH tournaments. If you keep posting stuff like this you should at least be more consistent in the informative posts! Just my opinion -_-
