Just over a month ago, Gorilla eXtreme cup Autumn, one of Russia's most premier Lan events took place. Although RAGE.ru missed out on attending they are under the spotlight again with a rather unfortunate line up change.
Rinat "kaum" Kayumov had been a part of the team Russian side since day one and it wasn't a change that was expected from a long shot. However, with a lot going on in his personal life, and not much time left for gaming, Rinat and his fellow team mates felt it best to move him to the backup role, to be called upon when needed. With Rinat moving to backup this left an opening for the local community to compete to represent their countries most prestigious team.
With a bombardment of applicants for the spot, RAGE-esports came across local talent Alexander "curse" Kalygin a former team mate of euphoria in rox.kis. With Alexander's arrival, the team will be getting set for their match against mTw in the EMS quarter finals. It is yet unknown what the team has in store for the future, regarding lan events. Although with an impressive performance at Antwerp Esports Festival I'm sure they will be looking to attend another major European event in the near future.
With their fifth safely secured the team will be looking for high-end results in the upcoming fnatic-cup, Esports Heaven tournaments and wrapping up the EMS, with Lan events in the new year.

The team's newcomer, Alexander "curse" Kalygin, shared the following thoughts about his move to TEK9:
"Today I'm glad to announce that I've joined RAGE-esports. Myself and euphoria played alot in general with eachother, and with kaum getting a job, I gladly joined RAGE. They are all great players and I'm happy to be playing along side them."
