Pure eSports, a well known Swedish team, originally comprised of players who made the switch from the Unreal Tournament series to Call of Duty have reshuffled their lineup by bringing in two former Call of Duty superstars.
Having joined the predominantly American based organisation of Pure eSports almost a year ago, the perdominatly Swedish Call of Duty team have parted ways with Dutch member Frederiek "Frantic" van Gammeren and Swedish member Håkan "hkan" Jansson this week.
Following a recent 9th-12th place finish at the Steelseries eSports Challenge, pure have announced its renewed, fully Swedish and rather menacing lineup which contains two well known names for any Call of Duty fan. With their sights set on the Summer LAN season and beyond pure have added the ex-fnatic teammates Daniel "tidde" Asp and Robin "rivve" Holmèn to their roster. The two players have been out of contention in the Call of Duty 4 scene for quite some time now and have both expressed their excitement to compete again with their new teammates in pure, and they both firmly believe they can reach their individual past levels of success with their new Swedish team.

Statement from Ted "KoWa" Hansson: "Its with mixed feelings we have too say goodbye to our beloved friends Frantic and Hkan. But after some discussion within the team we felt that we needed some new swedish blod into the team so we found some guys called rivve and tidde ;) and they wanted to give it a go with us. So now we will give it our best and hopefully we will develop and become a team to count with soon enough.
