Following our earlier announcement about the Turkish Esport Festival back in June, more good news about Turkey's first esport festival has just been released, including a new date and a higher prizepurse for Call of Duty 4.
The Turkish Esport Festival will be taking place between the 26th and 27th of September at "Re-Fresh The Venue" in Istanbul, Turkey with €9,750 in cash prizes divided over 8 games: Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty 2, Warcraft III: Defence of the Ancients, Counterstrike 1.6, FIFA 2009, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 and Tekken 5.
After the announcement back in June, there was quite some discussion on the cash prizes offered for the CoD series, with €4,000 available for Call of Duty 2 and just €1,500 for Call of Duty 4. The organisers have however switched things around and decreased the prizepot of Call of Duty 2 to €1,050, whilst adding a additional €3,500 to Call of Duty 4, increasing it to €5,000 in total (given that 16 teams attend).
In order to register for the event, you will have to email cwillekens@ordrom.com to receive the application form.

English website is going to be available at wednesday.
And #12 yep passport is probably needed for traveling to Turkey, since Turkey is not accepted to EU yet.
Do you have an ID card? I do and mine is valid in all countries of the European Union but also countries like Turkey, Swiss, Norway etc.
By the way, the emailaddress to sign-up or request more information has changed. The post has been updated with the correct one.
