MYM say farewell to LUq

Meet Your Makers announced few hours ago that a long-term member of the Polish Counter-Strike 1.6 has been removed from the roster with immediate effect. The person in question is LUq and he was removed after a difficult decision to get the team in shape again.

If you have followed their results from past events, this might not come as a suprise since the team has been performing badly lately. They lost to mousesports in the grand final of EM III Global Challenge in Dubai, finished at 5-8th at WCG 2008 Grand Final a week ago and were stuck last in their group in World e-Sports Masters.

With the team's next event, Dreamhack Winter, approaching rapidly a rather fast pick-up is expect to the following roster:

Statement MYM.cs: "This year was very hard for our team, we had some ups and downs, but always felt that we should do better. During the few past events, we have had the feeling that we needed some change, to get our team back in the game.

Sometimes changes are needed to give a team a fresh kick of positive energy to work and evolve. This was one of the hardest decisions in our gaming history, but we felt that it's the right direction - and the direction in which we have to go.

LUq was always a very important player on our team, and a good friend, which made the decision even harder. We hope that he will find another great team so he can still play on competitive level."
