We have already reported on the case of two Russian Incredible Panic players a couple of days ago. The ESL has finally made a decision whether or not they will be removed from their active ESL competitions, the Intel Extreme Masters Season 5 as well as the ESL Major Series Season 7.
Both Konstantin "
Cny" Kalganov and Pavel "
kook" Fomkin had been banned by id Software, following problems with the players' pro account payments. The players' home, Incredible Panic, as well as the ESL had contacted id Software and wanted to know whether the matter could be resolved in a timely fashion, but the word has come back from the Americans that they will not be relieving them of their punishments.
This forced the ESL into action and both players cannot participate any longer in the competitions they are enrolled in. Especially for Konstantin "Cny" Kalganov this will have disastruous consequences, as he will be thrown out of the Intel Extreme Masters European Championship as well as the ESL Major Series TDM competition.
However, one man's downfall is another's opportunity to rise and this will be no different. To fill the void Konstantin left in IEM's Group F, the ESL has stated there will be a Last Place Decider between Kenneth "
plaZma" Aulie and Dan "
zsx" Sanders, who both placed fourth in the first and second Last Chance Qualifiers respectively. The match is set to take place tonight at 21:00 CEST.
**UPDATE**: The match between plaZma and zsx has been played earlier than expected, due to a scheduling issue on the Team-Dignitas player's behalf and the match was quite quickly resolved, with Dan "zsx" Sanders coming out on top with a clear-cut 2 to 0. Unfortunately, Kenneth "plaZma" Aulie had to forfeit one minute into the second map and thus the match was lost rather one-sidedly. This means that Dan "zsx" Sanders will replace Konstantin "Cny" Kalganov in Group F of the Intel Extreme Masters.
The ESL stated the following on IEM's website:
"Unfortunately we have to disqualify one Quake Live player from the European Championship of the Intel Extreme Masters 5, which starts next week. The Russian Cny has to leave the current season, since his Quake Live account was barred by id Software. A replacement for group F's gap will be determined in as soon as possible."

Was supposed to play in 1 hour... zsx been moaning on msn for hours that we have to play, so i decided to play him mid-dinner because he had to go or something, we play. I am fucking annoyed from the go. and I just play in ragemode.. I then quit after playing like a cunt on hektik for 1 min, just running into him giving him frags and suiciding.. and quit..
15 mins later I ask him on msn "You still here?!" and blocked him.

So you seem to be judging my skill level on something that happened roughly 7/8 months ago?Unless you have been checking my recent matches on a regular basis (even which are quite inaccurate because you do not know the circumstances of any particular game) I have come to the conclusion that your judgement of my skill level is quite inaccurate and therefore can only presume you are baiting me in some way.
