QB with the knife round, take defense

3...2...1...LIVE

Mattje with SMG in hand storms the market steps and flashes the B arch. Meanwhile, a team mate dies, then matt takes down swagga and tiger. It’s now 2v2, fluxer with bomb in hand, takes down reworK, and moves in on the A bomb site. 2v1, Mattja gets taken down but the round is theirs.

1-0 to ROCCAT!

Swagga drops multiple targets in the B alley, and rework finishes off the round in a white wash, it was a massacre, roccat bodies strewn across the gravel, laid there in disbelief as they were violated at the round counter ticks away...It’s now 2-2, the pressure is on and both teams want this victory. Valkia goes down to a nade, but jokez replies onto reworK, the server goes down, it’s C/I  with both teams having four members up, ROCCAT rage and the screens go black.

(5 minutes) They reconnect and the server is back up.

Fluxer opens up on swagga with a rallying “COME ON BOYS”. Valkia takes down reworK and more frags are exchanged, it’s 4v1 with tiger having it all to do, he soon perishes. Matje rushes middle like a man possessed, while jokes goes down to a nade. Fluxer takes down tiger and it’s 4v4, even stevens. Both Ak’s push onto the A site, smokes go down and the plant is secure. It’s now 4v2, QB really have to pull out something special, but the bag is locked and it’s 4-2 to ROCCAT.

Meanwhile, metal reconnects, most likely to reset his score, but it seems to be a valid strategy when it all starts to come together, winning the round, it’s 4-3 to roccat, then a tie...

The calls go out from ROCCAT, “Go B fast, screw the nades!”. 3v4, rework taking down fluxer from behind, but jokes follows up onto the masked contender. Jokes stuck now, in B arch, glimpsing around corners to try and pick the remaining three players, he get’s spotted, he goes down.

“Slow it down a bit, were going too quick!.” - but they lose the round, and it’s 6-4 to QB. ...the bomb goes down in A, it’s a 3v3, valkia goes down in b arch at the hands of tiger but dynasty follows on tiger and one other. The masked contender vs fluxer, with 13 seconds on the clock, roccat win. The score is 6-5 to QB.

QB seem to think roccat have gone a! Why? I don’t know, but it’s a TRAP! QB lie in wait and quickly eliminate the competition bringing the round a 2v4 situation, then 2v3...then 2v2. But then, the masked contender takes down jokes, and the pressure can actually be seen on the tip of his brow, he goes down.

End of the first half, 7-5 to QB.

2nd Half

The round kicks off slowly, no frags being exchanged until BAM, a nade frag pops up with valkia following up with another frag. Before I can blink it’s 4v1, then 3v1 with tiger being left in A car park, alone, isolated and vulnerable. Valkia takes advantage and finishes him off.

QB just need one more round to even up the game, but Mattja goes down but fluxer and dynasty are having none of it, evening it to a 3v3. Valkia shuts down a foe, QB reply, it’s 1v1. reworK stuck on wooden house steps, fluxer taking aim with his scope, but where is he? Has he proned to victory? No! Fluxer finds him looming on the B site and shuts him down to deafening cries from his team mates.

Mattje tries a mid rush, but stops short in A arch when mid calls are called. It’s 3v2, then  dynasty gets a double kill winning the round. It’s 8-8.

Jokez kicks of the round, but metal gets a double kill with tiger accompanying him on the kill feed. 2v2, QB get the bomb down in, they take down the competition and defuse the bomb. 9-8 to ROCCAT.

(meanwhile Mattje opens a can of Sprite which spills everywhere, including myself)

Once I had recovered from the can explosion, the score was 11-9 in favour of QB. Mattje with deagle in hand, jokes takes down one, valkia another but QB return bringing it to 4v3. Flux on top b street, running around like a hamster on relentless. 3v2. Mattje takes down tiger bringing it to 3v1, then 3v0. 11-10 to QB.

Fluxer on a site, takes down the enemy scope, it’s 3v3 with both teams playing for their lives. The masked contender takes it to 3v2, but mattje returns to make it 1v2, but quickly gets shut down. Fluxer with it all to do, 2v1, he takes down one, ANOTHER then defuses the bomb. 11-11. Both teams on match point!

Fluxer nades rework, metal replies, then tiger takes down jokes, dynasty falls and valkia replies once more. 2v3m valkia on a arch, fluxer on wooden steps. Valkia gets tagged up and the bomb goes down on a. Fluxer takes down b balcony but tiger takes down valk. Flux with it all to do once again, 12 seconds and he get’s taken down, nothing he could have done there.

Flux goes into mid market, starts to pray, hoping for a smoke bang. Metal takes down valkia then prof and rework takes it to a 2v4. Before I can type it the kill feed is alight and it’s 1v2.Jokes stuck in b arch, swagga gets the bomb down but gets taken down in the process. In a game of cat and mouse he pulls of the round. It’s 12-12, both teams played the game of their lives and cheers ring out across the second floor of the grandstand.

12-12 the final score, with both teams gone to celebrate their tie.
