insomnia40: Wargasm's Day 2 Blog

I woke up this morning at about 9:30 am to the soothing sounds of my alarm clock. I got up and changed to find that it was a remarkably warm day today, so I put on my oh-so-stylish TEK-9 polo shirt. My first job was to put the groups up. It might look like an easy job, but.. well... it is. But it's extremely time consuming! Luckily I had a secret weapon - Camiel! Camiel put up 2 groups and I did the other two, cutting the time in half.

I spent a while updating scores and generally doing not much, so i decided to get breakfast. Since i hadn't brought any food with me, i was at the mercy of Multiplay and their overpriced food. Luckily, press get free tea and coffee so I got some of that. The best thing I could get was a 9" pizza for a fiver, so I had that for my breakfast.

After this I did some more formatting and posting. With the groups nearly over I decided to check out the exhibition. It was pretty bare, in the end I just played a game called Qwerty Warriors (which was epic!!!). Once the groups were done I put more posts up. Pretty much, that's what I did all day. The most interesting thing that I did was spend about 20 minutes trying to do this trackmania level that ptER did on his first try. I might be shit at it, but at least I'm not a quitter!

So, the playoffs started. I watched a few games and put as many previews and reviews up as i could. This was especially difficult as i was using ptERs macbook. Not gonna lie, Apple, it's useless. It continually messes up all my posts, hence the random formatting errors that seem to crop up on some of the posts. I do my best to get rid of most of them, but some slip through the next.

I was frantically running between fm! vs waL and vital vs Dignitas, trying to cover as much of them both as I could when my girl called. Very unhelpful. I managed to get back to the games as quickly as possible, and i didn't miss too much. It was a shame to see vital lose, they played really well (especially pter's 2 clutches). When that was over - guess what... MORE POSTS.

Ok so this is getting monotonous now, but so was my day. I went over to see the fm! guys, and was met with D1ablo proffering me a drink. I took a sip of the ominously brown liquid, and was met with the sharp taste of vodka. He then gleefully tried to make me guess what the drink was. What an odd chap he is.

I finally finished the previews of tommorrows finals at about 1:30 in the morning, and then shared some pizza with ptER and JAY. When we'd eaten, i came back inside to find a drunk Tom "D1ablo" Newman. he decided to hit me in the groin with a random wristwrest, ask to borrow my phone, and then walk away. It's now about 2:30 AM, and I need to be up by 9:30 tomorrow, so i guess it's back to the tent for another night of extremely uncomfortable sleep.
