Matt "wargasm" Hazell previews the Lowerbracket final here at Multiplay's insomnia40 LAN event.

Two teams remain in the Lowerbracket. They've fought long and hard to make it here. In fact, these two teams have been playing pretty much non-stop since 10am this morning. So, who do we have at the end of this 15 hour CoD4 marathon?

In the red corner... Fragmasters! The fact that the second seed still remain in the competition is a testament to both their personal skill and mettle. Too often have they been on the receiving end of an 8-4 or 9-3 half time score, only to bring it back and win it in style. Unfortunately for them, this tactic failed them against waL, the loss which dropped them into the lower bracket.

And in the blue corner... FORIN BEGGARS! The mysterious "mix-but-not-REALLY-anymore" team. Seeded 3rd, they dropped in the lowebracket in the second round after a 13-07 loss to fragmasters. The side have come together as a team of friends over the past few weeks, and have become a force to be reckoned with.

So there is evidently a bit of history between these two teams. I'll keep saying what I have said all along about Fragmasters: if FORIN BEGGARS can stop them building up any momentum, they should get the game. Fragmasters are fantastic individual players, but they don't have the coherency of FORIN BEGGARS. If they do get on a roll, they will be hard to stop. But as waL have demonstrated twice already, they are not unstoppable.

Regardless of who wins, it should be a tightly contested match, and a great spectacle to watch. The winner will face the loser of Team Dignitas and waL, who will be fighting it out in the upperbracket final.
