In what could be considered to be the first "upset" of the tournament, second seed Fragmasters have drawn against 6th seed watch and Learn.

Billed as the only side that could take down, Team Dignitas, fragmasters got off to a reasonable start with a 16-8 win over defused. Their next game was against watch and Learn, the 6th seed. A number of teams we had talked to had mentioned that waL could be a real contender for the podium, and in this game they proved it.

The map was mp_crash, and fragmasters started on defence. They played well, and as the game crossed the half time barrier they looked in a strong position. However, once they got onto attack the problems started to show. Every time they tried a fast push they were forced back. Instead, they found themselves having to take every round slowly. At 11-9, George "rAIVZ" Marsh bluescreened. perhaps this took the wind out of their proverbial sails, as after this the side never seemed to regain their momentum.

Every round they were forced to sit back, ceding control of the map to waL. At 11-11, they managed to take it to match point. A fast A push was attempted, but to no avail. A 5v5 became a 3v5, and then a 2v3, with Mark "mark" Horner and Leonidas "Killzx" Kyrkos with it all to do. With time running out, they were forced to push through the map, and were duly shut down by the watch and Learn defence.
