With the main Call of Duty 4 tournament nearly over, defused gaming have announced they will be hosting a fun tournament.In a move similar to i38, where the community took it upon themselves to organise a CoD4 tournament, defused have announced they will be organising a fun tournament. Multiplay have given the project the green light, and it will be played using their servers.
The tournament will be a straight double elimination, without any group stages. Sign ups will open after the CoD4 Grand Final finishes, with the aim to start the tournament around 16:00 BST. The entry fee will be
£5, with all the money going to first place. First place will also recieve a Grand Prize courtesy of
Aquatuning.
In addition to the money, there are numerous other prizes on offer. The tournament has been sponsored by
ODEE of
Team Dignitas,
Gigabyte,
Relentless,
Demon,
Zotac,
ESET and
Cyborg. Each of them has provided some nice prizes, so there are prizes for the top 8.
