insomnia40: Consolation final review

Watch and learn have proved that Dignitas are not unbeatable. They showed, by playing smart, how to take the down the 4-man side.

Going into this match, both teams knew it was all or nothing. Whoever wins would face waL in the grand final for their share of the £2000+ prizepot. Whoever loses will be out of the tournament. Facing off are United Kingdom Team Dignitas and United Kingdom FORIN BEGGARS. The map for their showdown was mp_citystreets, often claimed to be a defence-favoured map.

With Dignitas starting on attack, FORIN BEGGARS seemed to have all the cards in their favour. Even so, they could not break the deadlock until the 9th round. At 4-4, neither team could get ahead. The BEGGARs took the score to 6-4, hoping for a nice cushion to sit on as they went into the attacking side.

Dignitas, or more specifically Robin "robyYE" Swaters, had other ideas. The dutchman went huge to clutch the penultimate round of the half. Following his example, Dignitas took the remaining round by storm. At 6-6, Dignitas had definitely something to be pleased about. BEGGARs now went on to what many consider to be the harder side without any rounds to fall back on.

On defence, Dignitas’ set nades caused real problems for the BEGGARS. They couldn’t get into any of the bombsites without suffering heavy losses. Dignitas took the score to 9-7 in their favour, and from then on they never seemed like relenting. SWAGGA played excellently on the scope, making some important frags to get the score to 12-10. It was he who ended up in a 1v2 to stop Dignitas winning the match. He dropped one, but could not get the second.

So, FORIN BEGGARS’ have had their LAN come to an end. They have much to be pleased about, and a third place finish is very respectable indeed. Dignitas go on to have a rematch against waL, the team who dropped them into the lowerbracket in the first place.

Yes it is. It is the adverb form of the adjective "excellent".

Wouldn't excellent suffice?

This is in no way bashing I'm just trying to learn some English here.
