iMMortal eSports Remove ARMIS, Add laznic

iMMortal eSports was perhaps the biggest surprise of the Helsinki COD Challenge of last month, when they came into the event as a relatively unknown team to the rest of Europe, but managed to show some strong and surprising results.

The team have continued on their strong elan since the event and have managed to do better and better in online cups and especially in the NORDIC eSports Challenge did well, even though they were involved in one of the first controversies of the cup. However, their recent successes might evoke a small hindrance, with Ville "ARMIS" Paajanen no longer being part of the team, due to his distinct lack in motivation for the game and the team.

To compensate for that loss, the team got in touch with one of the team's friends and also one of the better Finnish players in the 2008-2009 season, Niklas "laznic" Lepistö. The Finnish player has been inactive for over six months and was most recognized for his successes with the Diamondz.fi team that attended The-eXperience in 2009 and was the second only Finnish team at the time to attend a big European event.

With Niklas "laznic" Lepistö picking up the scope, this means that the team will not only have swapped players, but also roles in the team and expected is there will be some weeks of adjustment. All in all, the team feels they have made the right move and are hoping to continue producing strong results in Europe.

The new comer in the team, Niklas "laznic" Lepistö, had some words to share with TEK9 about his comeback to the active scene:

" Well, after a small break from competitive gaming, it feelsgoodman to be back. I met these guys at HCC and Fake told me couple weeks after the LAN that they're having some problems in the team (lol). I've played with these fellows couple times earlier, so I wanted to check how it would turn out. Shoutouts to everyone I know and to hxns crew, PS. Qoop rulez ;)"
