After a thrilling double overtime upper bracket game between iQPAD and Rive gaming, they met once again in the consolation final on the main stage at i39. The match was shoutcasted by Jay and Fatal from Multiplay and brought out around 100 specators for the match between the two UK rivals.

  iQPAD
United Kingdom Stuart "StuwOw" Jackson
United Kingdom John "GlaDiA!" Hoye
United Kingdom Gavin "Rework" Rackley
Hungary Gergley "Greg" Cseh
United Kingdom Andy "Andehh" Yates
    Rive Gaming
United Kingdom Tom "youthink" Ambler
United Kingdom Matthew "PezzR" Perry
United Kingdom Peter "ptER" Mather
South Africa Dennis "Mennace" Fick
United Kingdom Tom "neatis" Neatis

iQPAD won the knife and decided to go defence, obviously the stronger side on citystreets. iQPAD got off to a great start by winning the first rounds with great set nades and tactial pushes. Rive gaming started to get used to the surroundings and won a few rounds which put a bit of pressure on iQPAD. iQPAD then stepped it up, forgot the nerves and won the first half 9-3.

Attack can be difficult on citystreets and this seemed to be the case for iQPAD. iQPAD got off to a great start on attack by getting a double nade kill but then a moment of magic by Mennace with a double headshot with the scope. Rive gaming won the round, starting cheering and started to gain a bit of momentum. Rive gaming were winning round by round with great pushes and everyone felt rive were on the upsurge. The score was 9-6 and iQPAD still hadnt won a round on attack but again another moment of magic but by this time StuwOw with a great 1v2 clutch which brought his team back into the game. Everyone in the team let out a sigh of relief and this was the turning point in the game. iQPAD never looked back from that moment of magic and kept pushing, changing it up and ended up winning the match.

Final score: iQPAD 13 - 8 r!ve gaming
This was great match between two upcoming teams but I think that rive maybe had one eye on the final and let it slip between their fingers. iQPAD now move onto face Team Dignitas in the grand final with 1,000 pounds up for grabs. Can iQPAD defeat Team Dignitas? We will find out at 17.00 pm.

So when iqpad beat us, for predicted seed there's a news post. But when we beat them in an epik game there isn't. Sigh
