i39: Interview with iQPAD/StuwOw

Will “wizinium” Hunter has sat down with iQPAD/StuwOw, iQPAD just recently topping their group comfortable at i39.

Hey Stuart, could your introduce yourself to our readers please?

Hi I'm Stuart “StuwOw” Jackson, Currently playing for infinitus eSports COD:4 team.

How was your trip down to i39 and how has the event been going so far?

3 PC's 5 People 1 Fiesta, and Luton airport... I'm sure you can work the rest out!!

We have seen your team go through numerous line up changing with myzz being picked up then leaving and just recently you had picked up stat for i39. It looks like stat isn't here for you at i39, what made you remove him and bring in gladia on such short notice?

It wasn't Stat as a player, it was just the fact he didn't particularly fit in and “Gel” with the team. As a team we decided to pick Gladia up as I have known him for a while and knew from the start he would fit in.

The groups were announced last night. What was your initial reaction towards the groups? Did you feel anyone in your group could have caused an upset?

I thought our hardest game would have been against Dreamstyle, although they played well we still managed to win 15:9. GG Guys!

Today, you came top of your group. This was obviously a good performance but do you think you could improve anything going into the play-offs?

I would say not to judge us from the group games, as the playoffs will obviously be more of a challenge, but we are looking forward to stepping up to the mark, improving our comms. But good luck to everyone in the playoffs.

With the play-offs just around the corner, what will be your teams mind set going into the games? With getting out of the groups have you surpassed your expectations for this event?

We will be a lot “keener” and play with proper weapons. Take the games a lot more serious, and concentrate.

A lot of people dubbed you and Greg “onliners.” Both of you have played well at this event, do you have anything to say to your critics?

Who do you think is your strongest player going into this event and why?

Greg, as he has the gamesense and the aim, and has proved everyone wrong and played really stong so far. He says I need to tell you about his 2 “30 Bombs”.

Who do you think will finish in the top 3?

Excluding us, 1) Dignitas 2)Stim 3) Rive

With your team still looking for a 5th player. Will you be picking up gladia up after this LAN and what are your plans for after this event?

All I can say is only time will tell, our full lineup will be announced after this LAN.

With iseries no longer being seen as a competitive LAN by the cod community. Will you be looking to going across to any European events?

Definatley AEF, and hopefully another major lan, in the next couple of months.

With the community in such a strong state at this present time. What do you think about the project Vita Nova and how has the Enemydown league been going for you so far?

The Vita Nova Project was a fantastic idea, with all the future lans,  And the Enemy Down league is going fantastic, keeping all the teams active. Lets just keep it running!
