Gamersject Bunny Challenge Announced

After the highly successful Gamersject Winter Challenge during early January 2011 the management are back with a cracking Easter edition, this time featuring a massive potential prize pot of €8,000. The event will take place at the HGspot Center Utrine, in the spectacular town of Zagreb, Croatia.

The previous Gamersject event, despite its size was a spectacular event to behold containing talent from across the far reaches of Europe. Although in essence a trial run, being hosted in a brand new venue and location, the tournament ran without a hitch and all teams returned to their respective nations with nothing but praise, and it's upon these solid foundations that the Gamersject Bunny Challenge will hope to build upon to bring what could possibly be the best Spring LAN event of 2012.

However the announcement of the tournament was not plain sailing for the management, clashing with the popular dedicated CoD4 event Adroits, which had been announced just hours earlier. After some heated discussion on several boards by the community as to which event to attend, Adriots organizer Sean "Seanza" McDougall decided to step down not wishing to split the community, wishing the Gamersject event to reach maximum capacity.

The event itself will span over a four day period and will be the largest and longest event the Gamersject organization has ever endeavoured to organize featuring six competitive titles all in the HGspot Center Utrine in the capital of Croatia, Zalgreb. With the event due to kick off on the 27th April 2012 it does run the risk of clashing with some institutes examination periods, but should on the whole be ideally suited for the majority of the community.

Alongside the Call of Duty 4 PRO tournament which will feature a €350 ticket cost for a full team, the event will also feature a local CoD4 tournament with a cheaper entry fee, a Call of Duty 2 tournament and a CounterStrike: Source competition.

Below is a short extract from the Gamersject statement, full the full version please click here.
"To be honest, this thing was in our heads for such a long time and it took days and days of analyzing the situation and planning everything. Finally, we are here with our official release and we are ready to bring up all the tiny details to you. One of the final things which motivated us in this decision and which became a 'trigger' for this release is Call of Duty 4 European community's acknowledgement of our Gamersject Winter Challenge being a no. 2 LAN in Europe in 2011..."

GamersjectTV will be on site streaming throughout the extended weekend. For full event details including ticket bookings please click the following link.
