After an enthralling first week which saw Swedish 1.6 legend Emil "HeatoN" Christensen take the gold and a second week where our own TEK9 Steven "dfb" Leunens won, we can now reveal the participants for week 3 of the Rush Poker Challenge and hope the TEK9 & COD community will be represented in similar fashion. For anyone who hasn't been following the goings on or isn't familiar with the Rush Poker concept the premise is simple, it's poker on steroids. Instead of the long, drawn-out hands and excruciating waits once players fold a hand they will be thrown straight back into it on another table, meaning there's no waiting around for the hand to end. It's a revolutionary poker format available only on Full Tilt Poker and each week 4 e-Sports luminaries will be trying their hand at the game, with the aim of qualifying for the Grant Final of the Full Tilt Rush Poker Challenge.
The third week of poker and big name eSports players feature some known faces to the TEK9 community. One of the first is the Editor of Tid-bits and expert writer, Richard "
Gonzo" Lewis, who will be representing the Cadred community and is home to more than one game. Joining him is his countryman and former 4Kings manager, Ben "
Ben" Woodward who will be taking time off from his busy Power Gaming managing roles. The most unfamiliar name is probably Anders "
F2" Carsten who is a known Team Fortress 2 player and represents Epsilon eSports. Conversely, Johan "
miRACLE" Gärtner is the main guy representing Call of Duty 4. The TCM-Gaming Swede will be trying his best to come out on top. Whoever will win this week's celebrity challenge, can only be found out by heading over to the
