FTC Move In On Finnish 8D

After the Helsinki COD Challenge a couple of months ago, we had our expected winners in the Finnish scene, but one of the break-out teams from the event were without a doubt the Immortal-eSports line-up. They suffered some inactivity problems right before the Summer, but have recently rebounded and went through the scene as 8D, looking to keep improving.

Whilst this young team have not quite yet overtaken the biggest team in their home country, they are one of the fastest improving teams of the European scene, as has been shown by their strong results in various online cups in the last month, coupled even with a tad of controversy at times.

However, the boys of Joonas "Fake" Oikarinen had been on the look-out for any organisation to start supporting their cause, after they had already committed to attending the Adroits CoD Masters in August on their own. Luckily for the team, they were put in touch with the French-based FTC crew who had been hunting for a new team.

The young organisation had previously owned a European-mixed team with both ups and downs and are hoping that their new team will outdo the previous teams of the organisation, so that both can keep on growing. The Call of Duty 4 team will represent FTC on both the Adroits CoD Masters in Enschede, The Netherlands as the local ESPC in Helsinki, Finland.

The team's new manager, Aurélien "Hiddenz " Drouaud, added a statement about his new Call of Duty 4 team:

" I didn't search too long to find these Finnish guys. I had a lot of propositions from different teams. They were all nice, but they couldn't fit with the ambiance of the organisation. But I'm proud to announce that the ex-Immortal eSports has come to our home. I hope that the team will go as far as we are looking for it! I wish them the best of luck for Adroits Cod Masters and ESPC.  I would like to thank all the people supporting us, my staff, Blue elph, and Immortal servers, Cobby is doing a really great work. Ang patrickG, gifted, anton, hiffer, Solu, Pazazu, paska, luxxor,  buutch, elkez,  aLucard, ruzties, takke, pogo, and all the people I forgot, I love you all!!"

The Finnish former 8D team also handed out some comments about why they joined up with FTC:

" After leaving Immortal esports several months ago we've been looking for a new organization. This time we wanted something stable, something professional. Now we have found it and we are proud to represent First Tech in the upcoming events such as Adroits CoD4 Masters in Netherlands and ESPC 2011 in Finland and many more events to come.
