FragMasters Top Off Line-up Troubles

One of Britain's best-kept secrets is the FragMasters team. A formula that has been proven successful in the past but rarely executed in the flesh, friends who go at it together and stick through thick and thin to improve at the game they enjoy competing in. To all fairy tales come an end, though, and the initial five men crew is changing to cope with the daily problems.

FragMasters have been a bunch of guys who are a mainstay in the local British scene and who have been trying to keep their line-up the way they like it and feel most comfortable with. This paid off immensely as the team climbed from relative obscurity into the top levels of the current competitive scene through online results and a strong showing at Insomnia43.

The downside of just sticking together no matter what is that acitivity tends to crumble as soon as one of the main five has more pressing issues in real life. This was the case with Chris "atom1k" Dealing who dropped from the team at the worst possible time, with the Epic.SEVEN event quickly approaching and Fnatic star Chris "Lighters" Lightburn had to step in at the very last moment to assist the team throughout the weekend.

With the Call of Duty 4 scene brumming with activity right now, the team had to act quick in securing a proper fifth or they could potentially see themselves void of many good opportunities. The search started immediately and eventually they managed to profit of a competing team. Team Derailed had forfeited their existence by that time and Sam "tOPZChN" Opie was a free agent again. Both parties decided to give it a go and before long they reached a mutual agreement and FragMasters is ready to start competing more actively in Europe's leagues and cups from now on.

FragMasters' latest addition, Sam "tOPZChN" Opie, gave out the following statement about his team:

" Hi guys! Well i didn’t expect to be writing a statement this fast, but the last few weeks have been great. The Fragmasters boys are genuine top lads, and great fun to play with/be around! :D..
