The former fofos.sk team had been making a rise in the European community until on of their members was removed from all public events and online cups, due to proof being found against him. They recently switched organisations and came out strong with a win at the local MSI Grunex #2 event.
With Josef
"jANY" Janoušek receiving the brunt of the European community after a cheat was found and spread through the community, he was adament on proving everyone he and the rest of the team were a legitimate part of this competitive scene.
The change in venue from fofos.sk to Authority Gaming was also sparked through some internal difficulties and the peace that overcame them after the switch translated well into their game. Last weekend, at the MSI Grunex #2 event in Prague, Czech Republic, they charged to the front of the pack of the best of the best in one of Europe's strongest countries.
This also happened with a line-up change in the last few weeks, as they had initially dropped Petr "cDe" Dumek in favour of František "
SexAxZ" Henyš who was last seen making the jump to the eSuba team. The Czech team therefore chose to stick with the players they knew and simply invited Petr "cDe" Dumek back into the team.
Lukáš "d91" Dvorák (Manager)
Tomas "GLady" Cechacek
Josef "jANY" Janoušek
Vladimír "blade" Lisický
Jirí "neitheR" Lerný
Petr "cDe" Dumek
The team's manager, Lukáš "d91" Dvorák issued a statement about their win and their new organisation:
" Well, I'm very pleased, that these five guys are in our team. They're one of the best teams in the Czech Republic (actually, they're the best). Their last win of Intel Grunex LAN #2 was awesome! It was a perfect start after the rebirth of Authority Gaming. I'm looking forward to repeating this at the upcoming actions (e.g. Italian Autumn LAN or EMS IX). I hope, that our collaboration will be long and without any failures!"
The combination seemed to pay off, as they were more than successful in their local competitive event, taking out known teams such as eSuba, REFUSE and the TCM-Gaming mix en route to claim victory and walk away with a €204 cheque and some goodies.
