After a total of 22 teams entered the Frag-O-Matic 12.0 groupstages in Wieze, Belgium Saturday morning, today only two remain.Making their way to the Grand Final is the current number one in Europe, Power Gaming, who decided to attend the local Belgian event to practise and bootcamp for the Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 in March. Power Gaming have had a relatively easy run through the tournament, defeating Insane (13-0), viZio Esport (13-3), Gamelimited (13-7) and Heroes (2-0) on their way to the final after losing just five rounds in the groupstages.
Their opponents in the Grand Final are the Benelux based team Heroes, who reached the Winnerbracket Final after a close overtime game against MouseFX on mp_citystreets, 16-14. Having lost the WB Final to Power Gaming in two straight maps, Heroes faced MouseFX once more for a spot in the Frag-O-Matic Grand Final.
On day two of the tournament, MouseFX proved to be less of a threat and were unable to prevent Heroes from qualifying for the Grand Final, losing the consolation final in two maps (mp_backlot: 5-13, mp_crash: 9-13).
