Fnatic Fix Problems Of RaidCall COD4 Cup #1*

Posted by Peter ptER Mather on 2012-03-25 18:39:03

The well-established organization of Fnatic have just announced a new online cup in partnership with their primary sponsor RaidCall. The cup will run from the 28th-29th March 2012 and will feature an impressive $600 prize pot.

Fnatic make their return to the cup hosting scene after a two year absence, this time partnered with RaidCall. Due to commence on Wednesday 28th March at 18:00CET the RaidCall CoD4 Cup #1 will feature a possible 64 teams in an open invitation format utilizing first come first serve for team selection. The competition will run over a two day period, seeing the tournament finally conclude late on Thursday evening. A generous $600 total prize pot has been put in place to attract the best from across Europe, and none other than QuadV Commentator Dennis Mennace Fick will be on hand to bring you the most exciting action live to your homes on FnaticTV.

RaidCall, for those that do not know, is a professional group communication program designed for eSports use, especially within the FPS and MMORPG genres. Utilizing high quality, low latency codecs alongside free chat servers, it eliminates the need to invest funds into communication software, providing an ideal solution for any competitive eSports team.

**UPDATE**
The organisation of the cup have added a small statement concerning some of the problems you have been having to sign up for the cup:

Statement Josh Stone :: Some tweaks have been done on the website so you should all be able to get all five players signed up as a lot of problems have been fixed, if not get at least 4 members signed up and added to the team. We are trying our best to be able to get all of you who have signed up and added your teams to compete.  So you have 5 hours to keep persevering with the sign ups.

For more information on the cup alongside how to sign up please click here or follow the link at the bottom of the post. You can find some additional information below.
