Following our news post earlier announcing the folding of the ButtonBashers Call of Duty 4 team, we can now inform you of the first player to find a new home. Unsurprisingly, it is ex-TEK-9 Call of Duty legend
Stevy "Stevy" Verheyen who has been snapped up in already widely rumoured move by
fnatic.MSI.
The swedish side have had inactivity troubles with Daniel "tidde" Asp having work commitments preventing him from taking the fully active role required by the team. This means he will be moving into backup position to allow Stevy into the main lineup. Consequently

Robin "rivve" Holmén will be dropping the sniper to make way for Stevy's renowned talent, and instead taking up a full-time role as an AK47 player.
The only downside to an otherwise very promising looking move for fnatic is that the team will now have to call in English because of the mixed nationality lineup. English is only the second language of the players, and as such potential problems could occur in a team largely used to calling in their native tongue.
We will be seeing them at all three major summer LANs, and wish them the best of luck. The new fnatic.MSI Call of Duty 4 team is therefore as follows:
Conney "KyoChi" Sjöberg
Marcus "odyx" Nilsson
Johan "LINQAN" Lindqvist
Robin "rivve" Holmén
Stevy "Stevy" Verheyen
Daniel "tidde" Asp (Backup)
Statement Conney "KyoChi" Sjöberg:"Most teams goes through this over the summers, players getting summer jobs that won’t allow them to go to LAN’s. This time it affected Daniel “tidde!” Asp, he will step down for the time being to being a sixth player, focusing on work. With freedom to choose whoever we like to fill his shoes, we locked on to the one we wanted the most, a guy who needs no introduction as he’s been holding the CoD world in his hands for almost a year now, his point of view is a panorama of pure destruction and we believe he will aid us in overcoming the challenges that lies ahead! Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you STEEEEEEVYYYYYYYYYYY."
Statement Stevy "Stevy" Verheyen: "After the whole BB situation it was clear I couldn't continue there, after having a great time there it came to an end. At first I wasn't sure what I would do, play or quit. As i'd wanted to find a job during the summer, however everything worked out well and fnatic gave me a great offer. An offer which later I couldn't refuse. After trying a few games with these guys it was certain I wanted to play with these people, They're a great bunch of guys and a very skilled & motivated team. We're ready to dominate the upcoming summerlans. Shoutouts to Pii, zemme, svotoe, solz, pietje & ofc kb0y, see you all @ the summerlans!"
