ESL's KOTH returns with 1v1 and 2v2 (updated)

ESL's weekly QuakeLive show returns tomorrow with an exciting lineup of matches set to take place. Sebastian "spart1e" Siira will kick start proceedings by attempting to defend his King of the Hill title against three new challengers: Michael "madix" Hindersson, Aaron-Anton "HELL" Jones and Robert "tox1c" Kopczynski. Although the Swede will enter as the favourite, the King of the Hill events have thrown up too many suprises already for viewers to jump to any quick conclusions.

This week also sees the introduction of 2v2 TDM, an old favourite with Quake fans everywhere. New fnatic teammates Pierre-Emeric "l1nkin" Portier and Kevin "strenx" Baeza are set to take on Patrik "zyv" Siren and Richard "noctis" Gansterer in what looks to be an interesting encounter. The fnatic pair will be hoping their recent practice together has paid off but are likely to be particularly wary of the danger their Austrian opponent, "noctis", poses.

Tomorrow's show will be hosted by ESL-TV's James Harding and Joe Miller and is scheduled to get going at 20:00 CET. Update: Aaron-Anton "HELL" Jones takes top spot after a narrow final win versus Benjamin "calipt" Jakob. In the 2v2, Patrik "zyv" Siren and Richard "noctis" Gansterer claim a resounding victory, 76 to 37.
