With season 6 about to start, the Electronic Sports League (ESL) has released the groups of the €1,000 ESL Major Series Call of Duty 4 competition.A total of 24 teams will be entering the prestigious online tournament, divided into four groups of six teams each. Although the current European number one, fnatic, will not be entering the competition, six of Europe's top 10 teams, namely SPEEDLINK, Team Dignitas, H2k, Power Gaming, TCM Gaming and Reason Gaming, will be making their appearance.
All groupmatches will be played in the coming five weeks, with the first games being scheduled for upcoming Sunday, the 16th of May.

The playoffs will be 12 contestant single elimination bracket. The top 3 contestants from each group will qualify for the playoffs. The group winners will be seeded 1 to 4, the group 2nd places 5-8 and third places 9-12. This means in the first round the group winners winners will have a bye and the 2nd and 3rd places face each other. The contestants will be seeded so that two contestants from the same group can only meet in the grand final.
A: Dignitas - SL (but I hope for Dkz :D)
B: H2k - mTq
C: pwr - TCM
D: R - Logix (but I hope for Airborne :D)
