EPS Benelux ready to start - teams known

Following the announcement back in March that Call of Duty 4 would be featured in the upcoming Benelux ESL Pro Series season, yesterday the official qualifier has come to an end.

A total of seven teams will be entering the first ESL Pro Series Benelux season for Call of Duty 4, going head to head between the 16th of May and the 6th of June with matches being played at set dates, twice a week.

While the Dutch teams of iuro and NCC Esports already qualified, based on their top two finish in the ESL Amateur Series, the eight remaining teams in the EAS top 10 ranking met up in a double elimination playoff bracket to determine the remaining five teams.

The tournament took place the past two days (Monday the 3rd and Tuesday the 4th of May) and came to an end with Nospang finishing first, followed by TheLastResort, DOK Gaming, Team Omega and GameLimited. Both MCA, who recently made their appearance at the SteelSeries Esport Challenge, and Rage Gaming failed to qualify, finishing 6th and 7-8th respectively.
