ENC 2009 Main Round Groups - FIFA 09

The qualification rounds have been played, so this means that the ENC main round in FIFA 09 is coming. Six teams were qualified directly, while the other six teams had to play one or more qualification rounds.

Germany, Hungary, Russia, reigning champions Poland, Ukraine and Romania were the teams that qualified because of their results of previous seasons. This makes them favourite to become top three in their groups once again. But perhaps one of the qualifiers, like Spain, could surprise this year. The groups are:

Romania Romania Ukraine Ukraine

Hungary Hungary Germany Germany


TEK9 asked one of the participating players about his expectations of the Main Round.

Statement Ukraine BlooD, national player for Ukraine: "As I see, we got the hardest group. All teams were in ENC LAN finals in the past. I even don't know what to expect about the top three, but I'm pretty sure that there will be Team Germany, as they added the twin brothers lately, that makes their team more stronger than in last years. For the other two slots I think it will be a battle between Ukraine, Russia, Spain and Austria."
