While being at the Antwerp Esports Festival, both Team-Dignitas and Power Gaming have decided to use the opportunity to play the ESL Major Series semi final at LAN to find the fairest winner.Power Gaming had been doing really well in the cup, especially in the play-offs. They managed to take down both H2k Gaming and the surprise of recent months, RAGE.ru to make it into the Semi-Finals. With the outdated system of mr15 and a best of three, it should make for a very lengthy and extended match between these two greats.
Team-Dignitas, on the other hand, have been a bit more fortunate in terms of their play-off route, but still pulled off two clean wins and are looking sharp to win this match-up.
Out of both Eurpean-mixed teams, Team-Dignitas have a far more unstable record but have, at the same time, also reached higher highs as the Power Gaming team. Power Gaming could be seen as the community's momma's boy, never risking too much and not venturing outside the safe area.
It is, however, what Power Gaming will need to do if they really want to consistently take down the very best teams. Unless, they are betting on the fact that Team-Dignitas will bottle again and pose less of a threat than on paper. I am favouring Team-Dignitas in this match, though, because they finally seem to have a line-up that works well together.
**UPDATE** After having talked to Jonathan "raz" Baker, Power Gaming have reportedly forfaited the EMS Semi-Final and thus Team-Dignitas move over to the Final to meet up with mTw in a match that is going to determine the winner of the 5th ESL Major Series.
