With the ESL Major Series Season 9 happening soon, the first national Qualifiers are about to start soon and teams can start signing up. Up next are the Brits with the United Kingdom Qualifier. OX.Enermax, on the other hand, have already won the first Italian Qualifier.
There are some busy weeks ahead of us with all the teams who are interested in participating in the ESL Major Series Season IX having to go through their National Qualifiers first. After the Nordic and BeNeLux Qualifiers were announced a couple of days ago, the other countries are definitely not waiting on their behinds.
The United Kingdom Qualifier has been announced just earlier today and it will happen on September 14th, where they will be hosting a big Single Elimination-style Bracket where three teams will be given the chance to participate in the ESL Major Series. Mind you, only the winning team of that Bracket will be granted a spot in the Main Round, whereas the number two and the number three will be given a spot in the Qualifying Round 2 and Qualifying Round 1 respectively. So for all those who want to participate with their (60% of the playing team has to be British or living in the UK) team, you can already sign up and be able to play from 18h30 CEST on Wednesday, September 14th.

With the United Kingdom teams being given three possible spots in the ESL Major Series Season IX, you are forgetting about Italy who have been outperforming the United Kingdom in recent seasons and will even have four people end up in the Qualifying Rounds of the ESL Major Series. The first team to participate is already known, as OX.Enermax played in the first National Qualifier and managed to beat Redbyte.it for the first spot and the slot that was awarded to the Main Round.
In the coming days, the second, third and fourth National Qualifiers will also be played and will hand out the slots to the Qualifying Round 2 and the last two to the Qualifying Round 1. It is expected that Redbyte.it will do what they couldn't in the first and beat the other teams to secure a spot in the second Qualifying round.
