EMS Season IX Participants Known

Following its absence from Season VII, Call of Duty 4 has come back with a vengeance this EMS Season. After some intensely fought qualifying rounds, we now have the full list of teams participating in the main event.

Teams qualified through two routes: the national qualifiers and then the main qualification rounds. Slots are allocated on the basis of the perfomance of each nation in previous seasons. Qualifying through the national qualifiers, and so avoiding the main qualification stages are:

Team Redlink
Team-Property

These lucky few were then safe and sound in the main break, where they will be joined by the teams who qualified through the main qualification stage. 12 teams come from this bracket, making a total of 24 teams participating in the competition. These teams are:

These teams will be mixed up and enter into the group stages, where 3 teams will advance from each of 4 groups of 6. With the likes of ANEXIS, fnaticMSI and LowLandLions all in the mix, the competition is already shaping up to be one of the most competitive seasons yet.

	I think they didnt want to play because they couldnt play with germaine, so they gave their opponent a noshow win?

won the CZ qualifier but that would mean we must play all matches with king instead of germaine

then tried EU qualifier which had no seedings or smth, lost to phan in 2nd round

then gave our opponent noshow in that qualifier round that we reached by winning CZ qualifier with king

Pretty stupid rules anyway, we won the like season 7, then season 8 had no COD4, now its season 9.

Like it has always been, the winner of the previous edition gets a direct invite to defend their title, but for some reason we didnt get this (because previous season didnt have COD4), kind weird rules but oh well, guess we can just focus more on the big online money then (the 10k cup)

	@blazy yeah there were 5 slots, but only 4 semi-finalists, so there was another ''round'' for the teams that lost in quarter finals or whatever, for the 5th slot, which we got.

	i wouldent go that far calling it terrible. We got quite a few teams with 5 swedish players in them, but i dont know why only 3 signed up for the EMS, but then again, if youre talking about the top scene, it will take a while before we see a full swedish lineup at the top :(

If you are referring to im not saying there is many team, im saying there is a few around 6-7 if im not misstaken, and then its a few "oldboys" that is 30-40+ just playing for fun, but still playing pcw almost every night but dosent care about aca and preinvite :) looking at the ems there was 3 teams, one was a few irl friends from katrineholm and 1 other team, and then my team and of course your team, but in the other qualifier(?). its all about how you look at it, there is more teams then you actually think, and that my point ;)

EDIT: and as i said, if fekju and ono was only talking about how good the swedish teams are, they are not a part of the top scene, yet but if they think our scene dosent have that many team, such as 3 they are wrong :)
