EMS Season IX Groups Released

Following on from the qualifier stages of the ESL Major Series the top contenders for the €2,500 prize pot have been allocated into one of four groups for the next stage of the competition. 

The ESL Major Series has been a benchmark for the Call of Duty scene since its creation, seeing the best of the best from across Europe battle it out for a respectable prize fund and the glory of the Major Series title. This year with the return of the event the competition has seen ever increasing demand, creating what the organizers have claimed to be the closest edition to date.

The group stages will see teams battle it out on a weekly basis on a predetermined map using the match mr12 rule set seeing all rounds being played, with draws not advancing into overtime. One thing to note for all teams taking part is the need to have upgraded their accounts to premium before Saturday 15th October at 23:59.
