Just to set the scene we caught up with Mumma after TCM had just booked their place in the final after an epic match against Power Gaming.
Whoever this guy is .. I don't really know much about the writers in europe but the coverage he provided it seems like single handed was amazing. Props to this guy seriously well done. Wish we had 1 of you in NA :D
Funny thing is I was at GotFrag for ages and when they advertised a position back in 2007 or so I applied. The application to the job disappeared and I continued volunteering for their site, then 3 months later I got an e-mail from the big boss offering me a volunteer position despite the fact I had been writing on the site for a while and had even attended events for them.
I replied telling him no editor worth their salt wouldn't know who was working for them and jokingly suggested he must have meant to offered me a salaried position. He went ballistic and said I was what was wrong with e-sports... Thus ended my American relationship.
Yeah gotfrag is a bit of a joke. We really have no new outlet for atleast COD in North America. Infact the last guy to actually run gotfrag.cod was Hackett he wrote top articles for 2 years asked for a salary position at the beginning of cod4 and was denied so he stopped. Overall gotfrag is terrible but great job enjoy your writings :D.
