DSRack on the hunt for some soixante-neuf

The timing seems to be handpicked from a PR management book, with the DSRack organisation now announcing the addition of a Call of Duty 4 team of their own, after surprising the eSports community with a potentially €20 000 Call of Duty 4 tournament.

The tournament is set to take place in just a couple of weeks and with their new found team, the organisation can be glad to have a strong team to represent them locally. DSRack has opted for the young team of 69'ers, who only came into existence a couple of weeks ago.

It seems ages ago when the Danish organisation had a Call of Duty 4 team under its wings and the last time, we saw any of them in action, was at The-eXperience '09 where the team did not reach further than a top 24 placement. Two of the team's members back then, Mik "champ" Bødtker and Allan "Profft" Profft, have now returned to this familiar home and will give it another shot.

How well the team will fare is yet to be determined for sure, but the names in the team might promise for some levels of success at the Call of Duty 4 events of the coming months, DSRack LAN, Game Paradise and The-eXperience '10. Their attendance at local events might do them well for the 2011 year, as these events might still prove to be too much to handle for a young team such as this, but they will serve a useful purpose nonetheless. Should they attend all three, they will have garnered quite a bit of LAN experience and that might come in handy for next year's LAN season, especially if they should stick together until then.

Kristian "piika" Kristiansen handed us the following statement about joining DSRack:

" For the past week we have been looking for an organisation, which could become our new 'home'. We've been trough a few organisations and finally decided to go with DSRack, as me, champ and profft have been in Team DSRack.cod4. We know qdk_ and we believe that he and DSRack can make make everything we want possible. We can confirm that we are then obviously going to participate in DSRack Lan, and also Gaming 4 Life."
