After announcing their preliminary dates a few months ago the organisers behind the DockYard LAN have decided that a change of dates was needed in order for them to reach the targets they had set for the event. With an amazing €10,000 up for grabs, providing they can reach the 48 team mark, it is set to be the biggest LAN of the year.
The dates have been moved four months later into 2012 from 6-8 April, which also shares itself with ICL 13. It will now be held from 24-26 August, moving away from the ICL dates in hope to attract more teams and help reach that massive prize purse.
At the moment the only other information that has been set is that the organisers are working together in finding the perfect venue to host from in order to give the best experience and atmosphere they can. They will be giving updates on the current status over the coming months.
