compLexity have announced the addition of American gaming legend Brian "dkt" Flander to their QuakeLive roster less than a week after the closeure of his former team, Gravitas. The twenty seven year old impressed recently at Quakecon, placing 5th/6th, and was an obvious pickup for compLexity with the rest of North America's top Quake talent already contracted elsewhere.
Many expected "dkt" to struggle after a break from professional gaming to manage in the CGS but victories over Maciej "av3k" Krzykowski and Pierre-Emeric "link1n" Portier in Dallas proved he's still got what it takes to compete with the world's best. compLexity will be hoping his Quakecon form was no fluke and will expect him to continue to hold his own against the likes of Tim "DaHanG" Fogarty and Thomas "Griffin" Wall, both currently playing for fierce rivals EG.
compLexity's Chief Development Officer, Alex Conroy, admitted he was "very excited" to have secured the team's newest signing. "He is a great guy and good friend as well as being a legend in Quake", Conroy explained. "Him being a former manager makes it easier as well." compLexity now boast three former CGS managers on their books with Jason Lake in the role of CEO as well as Conroy and "dkt" himself.
Keep up the QL coverage aswell :)
good luck dkt !
