The rumors had been floating around for the past weeks, but today Team Dignitas has finally announced the return of their former Counter Strike: Source team. With the Championship Gaming Series coming to an end, Team Dignitas saw the perfect opportunity to bring in some fresh new blood and in the recent weeks welcomed former CGS franchise players ChrisyBullard, Bazza, Daveyskills and Stune.

Representing the Dignitas organisation in Counterstrike: Source are none other than CGS world champions Birmingham Salvo. The British based line-up currently consists of Mangiacapra, wEZ, RattlesnK, pt and wilzOOO, all of whom have been a part of Team Dignitas in the past.

United Kingdom Mangiacapra
United Kingdom wEZ
United Kingdom RattlesnK
United Kingdom pt
United Kingdom wilzOOO

Statement Dignitas RattlesnK: "It’s been quite an adventure for us all this past year whilst we pursued our goal of becoming the World Champions of the Championship Gaming Series and I can honestly say that it was an experience that we will treasure for the rest of our lives. The opportunity that we took was only made possible because of an organisation who believes players should reach their dreams. Dignitas had no obligation to terminate our contracts until later that year, but instead they gracefully allowed us to be drafted and prosper into the team that we are today. In this pretence, it seems only right that we repay their faith by returning home to our roots."

But less domination for this team, they can dominate CSS but they can't do the same with 1.6...

Yeah true. But weren't they a 1.6 team before hand? Not sure how good they were though.

no, thers not and also they arent guna win anything for atleast 3/4 months if they went back to 1.6, they can win everything in css so why would they move back and also with UKesea coming what would be the point.

Taken from the G7 Mission statement:
"The G7 teams have been formed to promote the cooperation, and unity between professional electronic sports (e-sports) teams."

And also from about the G7:
"Seven of the most well known, respected as well as successful gaming organizations have joined forces to form the G7 federation, created for gamers by gamers."

Yes they may have 1.6 and wc3 teams but that doesn't constitute what makes up a G7 member :)
